So much to respond to here, but in short, yes I agree. The larger point is that the money for wha we need in society has to come from somewhere, whether income, property, sales/VAT, etc. It will be collected or we won’t have the service. And, yes, it’s truly unclear that private solutions would actually be cheaper for most of these shared services. Thanks for your perspective from a part of the world that gets the common good.
